Wizz Air has announced it will be visiting Ireland next week to host a dedicated recruitment event for experienced pilots.
This builds on the success of a pilot recruitment drive in the country last year, underlining its long-term commitment to growth and investment across Europe.
The event, which will take place in Dublin on 4 February, offers experienced First Officers and Captains the opportunity to learn more about joining Wizz Air UK’s rapidly growing base at London Luton, where it is the largest operator.
The upcoming event forms part of Wizz Air UK’s ambitious expansion strategy, supported by one of the youngest and most modern fleets in the industry and a strong focus on developing long-term pilot careers.
Following interest and positive engagement with Irish pilots during last year’s recruitment activity, Wizz Air is returning to highlight further opportunities at an exciting stage of the airline’s growth.
Pilots joining Wizz Air UK benefit from competitive remuneration, flexible roster options, clear progression pathways including Fast Track Command, and access to industry-leading training programmes.
Experienced First Officers with over 3,500 factorised hours may be eligible to apply for command within 12 months, with accelerated timelines for those with Airbus FBW experience. Opportunities are also available to move into training or office-based roles alongside flying duties as the airline continues to gain momentum.
