World First-IGA Istanbul Airport's Hygiene Team Wears Antiviral Uniforms by Keyvan Aviation

Keyvan Aviation, which has recently made a name for itself with its innovative solutions for the aviation industry, provides a stylish, comfortable and safe solution for the staff and passengers who are in close contact with them through its antimicrobial and antibacterial uniforms produced specially for airports and airlines for the first time ever. Keyvan Aviation recently produced antimicrobial and antibacterial uniforms for the ‘Hygiene Team’ of Istanbul Airport, which is taking firm steps towards being a pioneer in the fight against coronavirus. With this cooperation, Istanbul Airport became the first airport in the world to choose these state-of-the-art uniforms.

Within the scope of Covid-19 measures, İstanbul Airport -Turkey’s gateway to the world- has established a Hygiene Team which is on duty 24/7 for making conformity controls reminding passengers not to sit too close to each other and keep distance in queues, aided by demarcation on seats, walkways and around the gates and also observing the temperature of passengers and staff in the terminal with high-tech smart screening helmet with thermo-scan sensors.

Keyvan Aviation designed a tailor-made outfit consisting of a shirt, trousers, jacket, waist bag and shoes in order to provide a higher level of safety to the Hygiene Team, which plays a significant role fighting on the front line of the virus. In addition to being antimicrobial and antibacterial, these uniforms also stand out with their comfortable, skin-friendly, breathable and anti-odor features. With its experienced design and textile engineering teams in-house, Keyvan Aviation combines technology with fashion to keep aviation teams safe, while helping passengers feel more secure. Keyvan Aviation’s priority is to provide the highest level of safety in its products to keep people safe.

Mehmet Keyvan, the Chief Executive Officer of Keyvan Aviation, considered this cooperation as a promising step to encourage the aviation industry to take further measures in order to speed up the recovery period and said: “We are pleased to have a chance serving to one of the biggest airports around the world. We will continue to improve our products to keep air and ground crews happy.”

In the statement made by IGA Istanbul Airport on the subject; while emphasizing the satisfaction with the cooperation with Keyvan Aviation, the importance of additional measures taken against the Covid-19 pandemic at Istanbul Airport was also remarked. In the statement, it was reminded that the airport keeps hygiene at the highest level for both passengers and employees using the Istanbul Airport and a safe travel approach is adopted, therefore the antimicrobial and antibacterial uniforms specially designed by Keyvan Aviation are used in order to ensure the safety of the Hygiene Team working at the terminal.
