Low-cost carrier WOW air is to start a new route to Delhi International Airport from its base at Reykjavik’s Keflavik International Airport.
The service will utilise an Airbus A330neo aircraft from 6 December and connect into other destinations, notably its expanding network in North America like New York, Toronto and Montreal.
WOW Air chief executive officer and founder, Skúli Mogensen (pictured above) said: “”We are very excited to count New Delhi among our list of growing destinations outside of Europe.
“This addition expands on WOW air’s promise to connect more travellers to as many diverse and exciting cities at the best-possible prices.”
The airline now flies to 14 destinations in North America, and a similar number of destinations in Europe and has set its sights on adding flights to up to 15 destinations in Asia.
