Kazakhstan’s flag carrier airline, Air Astana, has been awarded five stars by the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX) in its official airline ratings for 2020.
The award, in the major airline category, was announced during the APEX.aero event in Los Angeles, a gathering of airline representatives and industry professionals.
The rating is based solely on verified and certified passenger feedback, according to Air Astana, and is dedicated to improving the entire airline passenger experience.
The rating was based on passengers’ online reviews from July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019, covering one million flights in total among 600 airlines in the world, all appraised and certified by an independent external auditing company.
APEX is a non-profit membership trade association, which has represented the world’s leading airlines, suppliers and associated companies for 40 years, with the stated aim of elevating the passenger experience.
