easyJet had grown its winter route network after adding a new twice-weekly link from Bristol Airport to Hurghada in Egypt.

The route will start on 30 October and joins the five new services easyJet has recently launched from Bristol to Montpellier and Biarritz in France, Milan and Brindisi in Italy and to the Greek island of Rhodes.

easyJet’s UK country director, Neil Slaven said: “We are proud to be the largest airline at Bristol and very pleased to be strengthening our network there with this new winter service to Hurghada, which we are confident will prove popular with our customers in the South West searching for some winter sun.

“We remain committed to providing great value services to our customers in Bristol and the South West by offering low fares, a convenient schedule and more choice when they travel.”

easyJet has also enhanced its Berlin-Tegel International Airport winter route network as it had added a new connection to Åre Östersund in Sweden.

The low-cost carrier will fly the weekly route every Sunday from 15 December and it has been started to meet demand for the ski season.

easyJet already flies from three international destinations to the region – London, Copenhagen and Bristol. It also flies from Berlin to Stockholm Arlanda Airport and Göteborg Landvetter Airport.

The airline operates an-all Airbus A320 family fleet.
