Japan Airlines (JAL) has relocated its Tokyo-Moscow route from Moscow Domodedovo Airport to Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport.
The move is part of a business partnership with Aeroflot whose hub is located at Sheremetyevo.
Once the relocation is completed in 2020, JAL plans to start a codeshare partnership with Aeroflot, strengthening the partnership between the two carriers.
And as recently announced, JAL will operate a new route between Tokyo Narita and Vladivostok during the summer schedule of 2020.
Meanwhile, JAL has increased the frequency of the Tokyo-Moscow route from four flights a week to daily in certain period. It will operate daily from 27 October to 13 January and again from 1 March to 28 March 2020.
JAL has also tweaked other routes. Tokyo Narita to Ho Chi Minh City it will fly move from daily to four flights a week between 27 October and 29 November this year. Tokyo Narita to Jakarta will move from daily to four flights a week from 12 November to 13 December.
