London Southend Airport has published its new landing, parking and training fees, with some positive news for pilots.
During quieter operations as a result of the pandemic, the airport has promoted pilot training opportunities at discounted rates, such as the ‘5 circuits for £5’ offer.
Pilots will be pleased to hear that whilst this offer has now closed, the new price list features reductions across several areas.
Discounts are included within the new pricing structure to continue to support pilot training, with reduced rates for all aircraft weights.
Aircraft parking charges have also been reduced for General Aviation making London Southend an ideal site for training and pilot pitstops.
Pilots can take advantage of the airports Jet Centre, offering a full service including direct ramp access for vehicles, onsite immigration and customs with pre-clearance availability to qualifying visitors.
Glyn Jones, CEO, London Southend Airport, “The aviation industry is one of the hardest hit by the pandemic, London Southend has used the time to identify opportunities, not only for training and openings for our GA customers, but also with investments into the airports infrastructure.
“We continue to look to the future welcoming pilots and supporting ongoing training.”
The new price list is effective from 1 October 2021 and can be viewed at https://southendairport.com/corporate-and-community/doing-business-with-us
