Pegasus Airlines has become the first Turkish carrier to trial the IATA Travel Pass after signing an agreement with the association.
And as one of the first airlines to trial it globally, Pegasus is now working with airline app builder Hitit to set up the required technology.
Once up and running, customers using the app can digitally store and manage their health-related certifications required for international travel, such as their Covid-19 test results
Information on test centres, test results and flight information can be managed digitally through the app which is hoped will help kick start a return to the skies as international border closures come to an end.
