Regional Jet expands cooperation with SAS

The Estonian capacity provider Regional Jet will be expanding its cooperation with SAS by adding five more Bombardier CRJ900 under a long-term ACMI contract.

It will see three CRJs will based in Tallinn, and two CRJs based in Vilnius with operations starting in March 2020.

Regional Jet already has a long-term contract with SAS for operating eight ATR72-600 aircraft and two CRJ900 aircraft based in Denmark and Sweden.

It currently operates a fleet of 19 aircraft, 12 CRJ700/900s and seven ATR72-600s. With the new SAS contracts and introduction of Embraer E195 aircraft for other long-term projects in Europe, the Regional Jet fleet will reach close to 30 aircraft by the end of 2020.

Regional Jet has 360 crew based in Tallinn, Vilnius, Copenhagen, Billund, Aarhus, Stockholm and Warsaw. During the summer 2019 the airline is or has been operating for Nordica, LOT, SAS, Air Serbia, Luxair, Flybe, LoganAir, Smartlynx, TUI Belgium, Great Dane Airlines, Blue Islands and many others.
