SalamAir, Oman’s first low-cost airline, celebrated the grand opening of its new office in Baghdad on March 9th, 2024.
After a 20-year hiatus in direct flights between Oman and Iraq, SalamAir has re-established this connection on August 31st 2023 fostering greater accessibility and cooperation between the two nations.
SalamAir flies 4 flights a week from Baghdad to Muscat and onwards to amazing destinations including Salalah, Colombo, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Dhaka, Jaipur, Lucknow, Multan, and Dammam.
The ceremony, held at the Al Asal Building, was attended by His Excellency Hamed Ahmed Eidroos, Ambassador of Oman in Iraq and Kuwaiti Ambassador and the Yemeni Ambassador to Iraq.
