Swoop adds two new routes to San Diego

Swoop has added a new route to San Diego in California from Edmonton and Abbotsford beginning 4 October, 2019.

The Canadian low-cost carrier will fly three-times a week to San Diego International Airport from Edmonton International Airport and three-times a week from Abbotsford International Airport.

Swoop will utilise its fleet of Boeing 737-800s on the routes.

The carrier will be accepting the delivery of three more aircraft in 2019, bringing its fleet total to 10 Boeing 737-800s by the end of the year.

The San Diego route announcement announcement comes one week after the release of Swoop’s 2019 winter schedule which offers non-stop flights in 39 markets.

San Diego joins Los Cabos IN Mexico as one of two new destinations in Swoop’s 2019 winter schedule.
